Hi, I'm Rachel, and welcome to my portfolio! I’m a communications and graphic design professional who specializes in creating clear, compelling visuals for nonprofits, arts organizations, and community-centered brands. With experience spanning digital marketing, graphic design, social media management, and event coordination, I bring a versatile and layered perspective to every project I take on.​

 

Currently, I serve as Communications Manager for Courage and Covenant in Chicago, where I manage multi-platform social content, design print and digital materials, build email campaigns, and maintain a dynamic WordPress site using SEO-informed best practices. My design work includes informational graphics, newsletters, conference materials, and marketing assets crafted in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva.​

 

I also volunteer with the non-profit Next Generation Playground as an Event and Social Media Coordinator, where I use Canva, CapCut, and Salesforce to design promotional content, build fundraising campaigns, and plan fundraising events.​ We have already had great success in fundraising; a recent social media campaign earned enough money to fully sponsor a year of enrollment for one child in Kids Klub, a therapeutic enrichment program offering a range of sensory-friendly classes catered to children of all abilities.
